Outside of that, Dragoncenter's recovery is also a OEM reinstall and can fix things fully/gives you the option of where to put it. TLDR: F3 Not working? Check if the computer has it on the wrong drive. This is for anyone who wants to restore this capability that is touted, since it'll be needed for those who might not be able to USB boot, or have bricked windows, and can't access Windows's or Dragoncenter's Recovery but during using it, it asked where to put the BIOS _RVYĪfter i did it and BIOS RVY was moved to the same harddrive- the F3 at Boot Recovery menu works! I used DragonCenter's Recovery option, made a boot Flash Drive. Not even downloading and using this MSI tool worked- the ni realized, the F3 thing might be tied to the BIOS_RVY partition, on the HDD that came with my computer- but Windows by default is on the SSD! (alongside the WIN-RE drive which is windows's own recovery drive) I also, did some deep googling and with extreme luck found this - to try to repair it So, I recently got a new GL65, and am loving it- but i quickly noticed the F3 Recovery option at start didn't seem to be working.
